David was a great person. He was in the army when I met him in Lawton, OK. He was soft spoken, outgoing, and just a wonderful guy. He met Bune, (my best friend) when she came to visit me in OK. I will always remember him as such a fan of Ole Miss! And sitting in the freezing cold watching a football game, cowbells and all with him and Bune. He will be missed by everyone who knew him and loved him. Rest in peace my friend. Robin

Uncle David had the best sense of humor (and the best laugh.) He was kind, handsome and smart, and he loved Aunt Bune so very much. My thoughts and prayers go out to Aunt Bune, Ali and Kyle. May God bless and keep you in His loving arms until you meet again!! Love always, Kim and Haden

David was so kind and patient. He was a great teacher and a great person. He reminded me very much of my father and I guess that is why David’s passing hit me hard. I will always remember the Friday night happy hours with the D&V crew. When most left, it was “David and the ladies” (most of the time it was Kelly, myself and David). We always had a blast with David outside the office. I will cherish those memories forever. To Bunny, Ali and Kyle and the entire Stergas Family: Mark and I are very sorry for your loss and we are thinking of all of you during this difficult time. Love, Lisa and Mark Weed

David was the best. I loved my time working with him at D&V - he taught me so much, he always had time for questions and time for sharing stories. He was a riot at the holiday parties and happy hours - these are some of favorite memories (David wearing antlers). Jason and I remember when we “lived” in Darien at the Stergas household when we would dog sit - it always meant a lot to me that I was able to help outside of the office. David played such a big part in my life and I cherish all the memories I have and wish I had more. Words cannot express how heavy my heart is - we are keeping the whole family in our thoughts. We love you and are truly so sorry for your loss.

Frank loved golfing with his buddy. David helped him a lot with his game. We had a great visit with Dave and Ali In Daytona....we will treasure so many wonderful times with David.
