Uncle Bobby was exceptional in so many ways. He was handsome, smart, talented, successful and a loving family man. Because he had a close relationship with his sister, Virginia (my mother), I got to spend a lot of time around him as a child. He was always fun and upbeat. I looked up to him because he had gone to Georgia Tech and been a pilot in the US Airforce. Plus, he drove a black Thunderbird, looked like Ricky Nelson (TV star and singer), and was an artist. I thought he was really cool! In later years, trips to NY to visit him, Gail, Meleisa, and Stephanie were always memorable with lots of good times, sightseeing, and museum visits.
He was fortunate to have had a good, long life. I hope Gail, Meleisa, Stephanie, and their families will be comforted by their memories. Uncle Bobby was truly one of a kind. I will miss him very much.
