What a remarkable woman Sharon was! I knew her through The College Club of Boston, and I never saw her without a smile or laughter on her face. She was always so warm and friendly. I remember sitting with her over tea at the Club one day and discussing a book we were both reading. She was one of those special people, a delight to know, and she will be missed.
My condolences to Sharon's family, especially her four children. They have lost a wonderful mother but are fortunate to have so many special memories.
May she rest in peace.

Such an ebullient spirit with continued curiosity about life and people! I had the pleasure of meeting only once or twice but she left an impression on one. I had no idea the expanse of her life until now...what a force and inspiration. Rest in power!!

A wonderful Mom. I had no idea what an interesting background she had. I just know that she always made me feel comfortable and welcome in her home when I was visiting as a kid growing up. I felt like she rooted for me and will always remember her as one of my 'cheerleaders.' I had a few of them that came in the form of parents of friends who always seemed to be in my corner. I have such fond memories of her growing up. She set such a great example as a parent and as an adult to me. I'm a better person for knowing her. Pat, Joan, Jim, and Cindy, you are on my mind.

It was an honor to care for Sharon as I was her nurse for a period of time at EdgeHill for VNS of Fairfield County. A very positive person with a true zest for life as mentioned in the obituary, the photo captured her essence perfectly. Laura Kuehl RN

I was just thinking of Sharon today, and thinking I had not written for ages. I had a Thanksgiving card for her. It is difficult to imagine the death of such a bright flame. She always made me feel brighter when speaking in the phone.
I love the story of her life and incarnations. She certainly loved all four of her children and said she picked a wonderful father for them.
My sincere empathy to all four of you children, and her close friends. she really was Joy!
