She was as beautiful as her mother who was my dearest friend back more than 40 years ago. We have photos of both of our girls, both named Ashley, doing modeling dress up, so perfect, so young. I am just heartbroken and cannot find the words to help. All I can do is send my love to the whole family, but especially to her parents who cannot comprehend such a loss. Forever in my heart, Penelope

We are so saddened by the loss of Miss Ashley. She was such an amazing person. Always upbeat, happy and so full of life. My son was fortunate to have her as a teacher and remembers how sweet she was to him. We will never forget the light she shined when she walked into a room; how generous and giving she was even if she had very little to give and how loving she was to so many children. We hope that Mackie will remember how special her mother was to so many people; she touched so many lives in such her brief time on this Earth. xoxo
