Obituary of Jane McFadden Bardenheuer

Jane McFadden Bardenheuer, a resident of Old Saybrook, CT, passed away on Thursday, June 30, 2011 at Middlesex Hospital in Middletown, CT. Born July 23, 1934 in Stamford, CT, she was the daughter of the late Marie Gleason and Kenneth E. McFadden. She was 76. Jane received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Gettysburg College. After raising her three children, she was a business partner with her husband, Lee, in database development for the automotive service industry. She enjoyed sailing, fishing, gourmet cooking, traveling and most of all, her loving family. She is survived by her soul mate and husband of 55 years, Lee; one daughter, LeeAnn Callahan of East Hampton, CT; two sons, Dean Bardenheuer of Randolph, NH; Craig Bardenheuer of Harvard, MA and five grandsons. She is also survived by one brother, Peter McFadden of Noank, CT. The family will receive friends at the Edward Lawrence Funeral Home, 2119 Post Road, Darien on Tuesday, July 5, 2011 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM. A Service will follow at 11:30 AM at the Edward Lawrence Funeral Home. Burial will follow at St. John Cemetery in Darien.
