Obituary of Georgianna Cecire

"Georgie" lost her courageous battle with cancer on August 12, 2014 at her long time home in Stamford. She was born on Sept. 14, 1942 in Stamford to the late Hugo and Vivian Hall Nosenzo. She was pre-deceased by her husband Earl D. Cecire Sr in 2005. She was the secretary for the Stamford Baptist Church and had worked for several other companies in the Stamford area. "Georgie" is survived by her children Marie (Rich) Gleen of Shelton, Janet (Tim) Putney of Wichita Falls, TX, and Earl D. Cecire Jr of Enfield, CT. Earl's wife Lisa pre-deceased her. She is also survived by her sister Vivian Plantier of FL and her brother Hugo L. Nosenzo Jr of Woodbury, CT. Six Grandchildren and many Stepgrandchildren and nieces and nephews. She was also pre-deceased by one sister Maude Banks and two brothers. Friends may call at the Edward Lawrence Funeral Home 2119 Post Road Darien on Wed. August 20, 2014 from 5 to 8 PM. Funeral services will be held at the Stamford Baptist Church 602 High Ridge Road Stamford on Thurs. August 21, 2014 at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at Long Ridge Union Cemetery in Stamford.
