Obituary of Dorothy Shepard Clements

Dorothy Shepard Clements, age 88, of Norwalk, formerly of Darien, died peacefully on August 22 at Atria Darien Senior Living. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 61 years, James R. Clements, on April 11, 2010. Dottie was born November 27, 1925, in Omaha, Nebraska, to Wallace E. and Dorothy J. Shepard. She graduated from the Ethel Walker School and from Finch College. She was a volunteer at the Stamford Hospital and with Person-to Person and the Stephen Ministry at St. Luke's Parish in Darien. She is survived by her three children, James G. Clements of Bridgeport, Nancy J. Clements of New York, NY, and Francine C. Hulbert of New Canaan; her three grandchildren, Carolyn H. Hulbert of New York, NY, Benjamin J. Clements of Darien, and Christopher W. Hulbert of Norwalk; and her great-grandchild, Alena R. Clements There will be a service in celebration of her life on September 13 at 11:00 am at St. Luke's Parish, Darien, Conn.
