Barbara L Johnson (nee Thomas) passed away Sunday August 5, 2024. She was born in Cumberland Maryland and graduated from Fort Hill High School (1957). She also lived in Northfield Ohio, Akron Ohio, and Darien Connecticut.

Born August 24 th , 1938, she was the daughter of the late Leonard and Mabel Thomas. She was one of eight siblings and the last of her family. She was preceded in death by her first husband, James L Clem and her sons, Richard W Clem and James L Clem, Jr.

She leaves behind 2 daughters, Deborah (Sanford) Rich, Diane Anderson,10 grandchildren, Sandy (Kim) Rich, Amanda (Andrew) DeGasperi, Annie (TJ) Rich-Gaffney, Aimee (Dan) Gisonni, Jamie Rich, Shannon (David) Cutlip, Brandon Anderson,10 great grandchildren, Sandy, Mabel, Annabelle, Andrew, Livi, Ava, Hailey, Hanna, Hadley, Peyton and many nieces and nephews.

Barbara was always full of smiles and affection for her grandchildren and great grandchildren. One of her favorite pastimes was listening to Elvis Presley and watching his movies while enjoying something sweet to eat. She will be dearly missed by her friends and family.

A graveside memorial service will be held Saturday August 31 st at 2:00 at Sunset Memorial Park in Cumberland Maryland.
