Mike hired me as a young associate attorney a couple of years out of law school in 1985 at Battle Fowler in NYC. Over the next three years, I learned so much from Mike. I appreciated him then, but now, having practiced for 40 years myself and having worked with many young attorneys, I appreciate even more the time he took with me in those formative years of my career. May Beverly, Michael, Brenden, Christopher and Mike's entire family find peace in knowing that Mike's life was meaningful not only in the big ways that they witnessed first-hand, but in smaller moments too, that colleagues like myself will always remember.
