Carolyn passed away peacefully on January 25 , 2024.

In 1979 she married the love of her life, Scott Calder. They were married for 44 years until Scott's passing in May of 2023. Along with the marriage came three adult children who Carolyn embraced as a gift of great good fortune.

Carolyn will be missed by her sister Beverly Schreiner Carroll of Vienna, Austria, (Jonathan); nephew Ryder Carroll (Brooklyn, NY); stepchildren Scott (Charlotte) Denver, Colorado, Marshall (Nancy) Newport, RI, Kimberly (Ben Yandell) Manhattan.

Throughout her illness Carolyn benefitted from the counseling and support services of CancerCare, Inc. (New York). Contributions in her honor are encouraged and greatly appreciated. (www.cancercare.org)

Carolyn Schreiner Calder's memorial service followed by a reception will be held on: Tuesday, May 7 at 2 pm at the chapel of Noroton Presbyterian Church, 2011 Post Road, Darien, Connecticut.
