It was a real delight to be a neighbor of George for so many decades. It was a joy to see his holidays decorations every year and trick or treating at his house was the highlight of Halloween every year for my kids. We will miss you, George.

One of my fondest memories was going to the Durham fair with my daughter, Emily and Ashlie and her mom. Baldy would make sure that the girls won every prize they try to win. He would slip the vendor a five or $10 bill and a look on their faces when they won all these prizes was priceless. There is nothing he wouldn’t do for his granddaughter to make her happy. He truly was a wonderful man.
George was a wonderful neighbor & friend. He would literally do anything to make the kids happy and always willing to lend a hand when needed. He will be missed by all. Heaven has gained another angel! RIP George❤️ Barb & Pat Magee
