So sad to hear of Lee's passing. I remember her so fondly from my childhood days as her neighbor in Ann Arbor. My mother, Joan, enjoyed many a coffee hour with Lee while we kids ran around the neighborhood or played in each other houses. We were privileged to visit them in Beaconsfield and later in Darien. Each visit filled with the warmth of her personality. I treasured each Christmas card she created over the years keeping up correspondence with my mother over the many years. My deepest sympathy to all her big wonderful family.
In 1997, my wife and I won a raffle for a week long trip for two aboard the Lee A. Though we have never met the person, seeing the ship has always been a special sighting and nice memories. Condolences to the family.
