Matt was my nephew. I am Sheila's sister. When he was four or five, we enjoyed a vacation at their California home. During the night i woke up, and Matt was quietly playing on the floor with his trains. I said, "Matthew, perhaps you should go back to bed." He said, "I am tired. My Mom lets me stay up and play." He was such a doll with beautiful black hair and warm eyes. It was fun to try to cuddle him. Another memory of him, when he was young, was when my son, Josh, was a teenager. He was sitting on a couch with Matt on one side and Geoffry on the other reading a book aloud to them. Both boys were really concentrating on Josh's words. It was a picture worth a thousand words. As time went on, Matt never ceased to amaze me by meeting his various rites of passage: school, high school, college, marriage, and Brody. May his memory be forever with us, and may he be at peace always.
