Evelyn T. Gallaer Obituary
Evelyn Terzian Gallaer a longtime resident of Darien passed away on March 1, at the age of 101 in Wilton, CT. She was born in Darien on June 29, 1921 to the late Archie and Kenarig Terzian.
Evelyn graduated from Darien High School. In 1945, she married her husband Horace W. Gallaer Jr. who passed away in July of 1959. She worked as an office manager at Stamford Hospital in the psych ward. She really enjoyed cooking and baking. Evelyn also loved to read and garden and most of all she loved spending summers at Candlewood Lake. She loved her family and friends and cherished spending time with them.
She is survived by her only son William "Rob" Gallaer, nephews Bryan Terzian and his sons, Bryan Jr. and Michael, Thomas Cotton (Helena) and their daughter Fallon Cotton, nieces Kathy Cotton and Susan Kharazi and her sons Pasha and Nader. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her sister Alice T. Cotton and brother Archie Leon Terzian
