I met Amita and George Ekern 42 years ago through my wife Hilary.
They were the perfect couple, George being exuberant at times and the always gentle Anita.
Over the years we travelled from Canada to Darien and I would always looking forward to seeing them and we always shared a delicious meal with both our families and always lots of laughter.
Throughout the years there were many happy times and times of great sorrow. Anita was an incredibly strong part of that family.
She was one of my favourite people and will always be in my heart.
