Margaret Doyle Kansas Skelly

Margaret Skelly, a resident of Wellesley Hills Ma. for twenty years and a 45 year resident of Darien Ct., passed away on September 12th, 2022. Peggy, the daughter of Lyndon Doyle and Jack Kansas, was born on November 6th, 1926 in Banes , Cuba. She was 95.

She trained as a dancer and traveled around the country performing in shows headlined by stars like Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis. She married George Skelly in 1952 and had four children. She was a phenomenal woman with a great sense of humor. Her family admired and adored her. She is survived by her son George Skelly, III of Darien Ct. and his partner Theresa Castro. Her daughters are Lyndon Skelly-Hausler, married to Richard Hausler of Fairfax, Va., Kathleen Kansas Skelly of Boston, Ma., Sharon Skelly-Theroux, married to Steven Theroux of Mansfield, Ma. Peggy was blessed with six grandchildren; Laurel Hausler, James Hausler, Lee Anne Hausler, Kat Hausler, Millie Theroux and Katrice Theroux.
