My kids, who are freshmen at DHS, rode the school bus with Hayden. Although they didn’t know Hayden personally, our daughter told us that Hayden made a distinct impression on her as an outgoing, fun-loving and exceedingly kind and polite kid. She recalled that he had many friends on the bus, but also always thanked the bus driver when he got off the bus, and once when he had misplaced his cellphone, was so mature and polite when asking the bus driver if he had spotted it. It speaks volumes to his character. We are so deeply sorry for your loss and hold you and your family in our hearts and prayers.
