Dearest Jackie and JoAnn,
I am so sorry to learn of your mom’s recent passing. So difficult for you and your father and family to lose two wonderful women in your lives. It has been years since we’ve even seen one another, however, those wonderful childhood/teenage years leave us with the best memories of all. I will forever remember so many fun times with your family, shared on Maple Street at my former home and your uncles’ home. Especially remember the pop 40 songs of the time and learning all the dance steps from Barbara. The best times were spent with your pony-tailed upbeat mom, playing the pool table at uncles house, grandma cooking … always, the beach, transistor radios, “Darby’s”, the Drive-In movies, Always so much fun and so many wonderful memories will always remain in my heart. Lots of fun time spent at your home, too, your mom was always so inviting!
I’ve been a FL resident for some time now, would have paid my respects to both very special ladies if we were still in the area.
