Eileen was fun! Going to see houses together, working on listings and interacting with her was always high octane; in the age of political correctness she was not shy about expressing her views, which I enjoyed. I remember her generosity: when our son Bruno started www.organicbarrow.com, a non-profit aimed at addressing nutrition issues in low income communities of Stamford/Norwalk, she topped the donors' list. We will miss you dearly, Eileen. David

I have been friends with Eileen for over twenty years and truly an admirer of hers throughout our entire friendship. In business, I was blessed with many talented and generous mentors but it is from my experience as Eileen's friend and client that I truly learned hussle and client service. Eileen was always patient, incredibly knowledgeable and kind. We shared many wonderful experiences over the years and helped each other through some of life's rough spots. I find myself thinking about her a lot these last few days and am so grateful to have had her in my life.

We are heart broken over the loss of Eileen. She was one of a kind. Her love had no bounds and her ability to empathize and relate to people from all walks of life was truly remarkable. It was impossible to feel sad around Eileen - her energy, sense of humor and kindness were infectious. We will forever be grateful to her for finding us our first home in Darien. Her family-first attitude helped us find the perfect home right next to our own family. She will be greatly missed, but will live on in all of our hearts and memories. My condolences to the Hanford family and the community of Darien, past and present. Eileen made Darien home, and I will forever cherish our friendship.
