Leonora C. Caputo, a resident of Darien, CT, passed away Saturday, June 26, 2021, in Darien. Born on June 15, 1927, in Stamford, CT, she was the daughter of the late Clara (Passero) Aide. She was 94 years of age. Leonora worked as a cook for Courtland Gardens in Stamford. She was a great person, had a great sense of humor, and loved her family. She is survived by a brother, Michael Aide, and his wife, Margaret of Stamford, a nephew Michael F. Aide and his wife, Leonore also of Stamford, a great-nephew, Matthew Michael Aide, and several cousins and friends. In addition to her mother, Leonora was predeceased by her beloved husband, Philip, and a son, Gregory Caputo. The family will receive friends at the Lawrence Funeral Home, 2119 Post Road, Darien, on Thursday, July 1, 2021, from 4:00 to 8:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. John R. C. Church,1986 Post Road, Darien, on Friday, July 2, 2021, at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow at St. John Cemetery, Darien.
