Obituary of Richard B. McKeough, Jr.

Richard B. McKeough, Jr., 62, husband of Quay Brown McKeough, died at home on October 3rd after a 13 year battle with breast cancer. Rick grew up in Stamford, CT, the son of Richard B. McKeough, Sr. and the late Barbara Widney McKeough. He graduated from King School and attended the University of Southern California before graduating from the University of Bridgeport. His career as a lending officer began at CBT, followed by similar positions at People's Bank, Fleet Bank, Bank of New York and the Communities Bank. A resident of Darien since 1989, Rick was an avid golfer who enjoyed his Sunday foursome on the course at Woodway Country Club. Rick loved all sports and when he was able, loved to keep score at his boys' Little League games. In addition to his wife and father, Rick is survived by his two sons, Walker and Spencer of Darien as well as his sisters, Susie McKeough of Norwalk, and Mary Tackman and her husband Bob of Fairfield, and their children, Katie Tackman of Philadelphia, and Matthew and Rebecca Tackman of Norwalk. He was predeceased by his brother John. A memorial service will be held at St. Luke's Parish in Darien on November 10th.
