Dear family of John's: I met John a year ago while playing piano and singing at Waveny Care Center. John was a delightful man, who always gave me "homework" -- songs to find, identifying the movies in which the songs were performed, etc. He asked me at one point to play "Did I Tell Remember (To Tell You I Adore You)?", saying it had been his wife's favorite song. I wasn't familiar with the song, but thanks to John it's now part of my repertoire. I will miss seeing John on Friday mornings at Waveny. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
