Obituary of Mary Anna Gauruder Wilson

Mary Anna Gauruder Wilson, a long time resident of Stamford, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 22, 2010 at St. Camillus Health Care Center in Stamford. Born on March 6, 1920 in Manhattan, NY, she was the daughter of the late Stephen and Lina Keller Gauruder. She was 90. Mary Anna was a parishioner of St. Mary's Church in Stamford and a member of St. Mary's Rosary Society. She is survived by one son, Frank Wilson, Jr.; three daughters, Beverly Young, Patricia Werdelin and MaryEllen Wilson and three grandsons. She is also survived by two brothers, George Gauruder and John Gauruder and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Frank Wilson, two sisters, Carol Smith and Theresa Gauruder and one brother, Stephen Gauruder. The family will receive friends at the Edward Lawrence Funeral Home, 2119 Post Road, Darien on Wednesday, December 29, 2010 from 10:00 to 11:00 AM. A Prayer Service will be held at the Edward Lawrence Funeral Home at 11:00 on Wednesday. Burial will follow at St. John Cemetery in Darien.
