Mary was one of the dearest people I have ever known. Mary was a long time member of St. Johns Church in Darien, she was the Godmother to Justin Swinnerton, and a friend to many. Mary was an amazingly independent woman. She was extremely close to her brother James and after he passed she lived alone in their house in Rowayton and did an amazing job of taking care of it. Luckily she met Louisa, and lived an even fuller life being surrounded by Louisa's loving family. Mary will be missed by many!!! We love you Godmother Mary!!! Josie & Justin

I worked with Mary in the early 1970's at Continental Can in Greenwich. We were both "kids" then and have been friends ever since. I've always thought of Mary as a warm, loving person and one who will surely be missed by me and her other friends. My only regret has been that distance has kept us apart but, fortunately, Mary had her adopted Katz family to watch over her in recent years. My wife, Karen, and I offer our heartfelt sympathies to Louisa and all of Mary's other friends as we all share in the loss of this wonderful person.

To Louisa and family, loved Mary dearly. She will be missed by all of us at St. John Church and all the members of Chat & Chew.
