Daniel Richard Oak of Rowayton passed away on Friday, May 18, 2018 in Stamford CT. He was born in Fairfield, CT on April 12, 1967 to Reginald O. Oak and Sheila Flannery Oak. He was 51. Daniel graduated from Fairfield Ludlowe High School and then worked for multiple companies including Proctor & Gamble, Nutmeg Industries and NYIRI Remodeling. He was also Assistant Chief of the Rowayton Volunteer Fire Department. Daniel was an avid Sportsman who competed in the FITASC World Finals in Minnesota. He was also an avid hunter and fisherman who loved nature. Daniel is survived by his wife Janet Klineman Oak, two daughters Sarah "Delaney" Oak and Shelby Oak all of Rowayton, CT, one brother Tim Oak of Ft. Myers, FL, two sisters Melissa Oak of Weston, CT and Stacey Koelewyn of Bridgeport, CT. A Celebration of Daniels Life will take place on Saturday, May 26, 2018 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Rowayton Beach Association Boat House located at 39 Rowayton Ave. Donations may be made in Daniels honor to the work of Dr. David Hafler for Immunology, Attention: Sharon McManus, Director of Medical Development at Yale, Department of Neurology, P.O.
