I was so heartbroken to hear of Tommy's passing. Our friendship stems back to just prior to he and Melanie's marriage; such an endearing couple. So many fond memories of boat trips to Watch Hill, Block Island, Greenport LI. We would embrace long philosophical conversations (or so we thought) about life and the paths we were all meant to follow. It is obvious from reading messages that Tommy touched so many with his gentle demeanor, cheers of encouragement, a bright smile to start someone's day, a helpful hand. He loved life and what others had to offer in life. I write all of this with tears in my eyes, but a smile on my face; happy to have had Tommy a part of my life. Since having missed his services, I will celebrate Tommy's life in my own special way with the moon and the stars shining down...down on us all.

We have been lucky enough to live next door to Tommy for the last few years. It has been our pleasure to know him and we are so devastated by his loss. Our mornings have not been the same without seeing his smile and wave as we head out for work. He always had a kind word for our young children and was such a caring and generous neighbor - always offering to help with things. From helping put the roof on our new shed, to plowing our sidewalks and my mom's driveway across the street, he never hesitated to help a neighbor and friend. We send our deepest condolences to all of his family, friends and loved ones.

Having lost our son Michael, there are not enough words to express how sorry we are for your loss of Tommy. I will never forget the years that I worked for you Dr. T., I saw 5 of your children grow up (but was to meet Debrasue when she and her Mom came to visit me after having my baby Michael). You and Susan made me feel like I was part of your Family. Susan would invite me to join the Family on Wednesday nights for a beautiful delicious spaghetti dinner. It was at that time I got to learn the personalities of each one of them. I will always remember Tommy telling the story how he liked to talk and would get into trouble for talking so much. LOL. I would say you will just have to try hard not to talk. He said I do, but the words just come out. LOL. I will always cherish those fond memories and the years I worked and shared with the Family. Our Heartfelt Condolences go out to all of you. With much Love, Louis & Linda Gabriele
