He was perhaps my favorite teacher at Thomas Edison High School.
To liven things up, he performed "key tricks" where he would spin keys around his back
to amaze us all. A dedicated teacher and all around wonderful person. God rest his soul.

My deepest condolences. Mr Evola was my drafting teacher in 1970. He was one of those teachers that you never forget. A great teacher, a nice guy and good sense of humor. RIP Rocco.

My deepest sympathy for your loss. What seems to be a long life is never long enough where our loved ones are concerned. Our Heavenly Father Jehovah feels the same way. That is why He has promised to swallow up death forever and soon end all our suffering. (Rev. 21:3-5; Isa. 25:8)

Mr. Ebola was my drafting teacher at Thomas Edison HS in the early 1960's. We looked forward to his class. Aside from learning to draw, it was fun. He was an interesting guy. Over fifty years later, one of the better memories of those high school days.

Dearest cousins, It is with great sadness that I offer my condolences. Uncle Ray was much loved by you and all who knew him. He was a very sweet and kind man who always had a smile around children. A soldier, a teacher, a husband, a father & grandfather. Ray's was a life well lived. I know you will miss him. I encourage you to always remember those wonderful family memories of us playing in Palisades while all the uncles and aunts watched over us. I pray that they watch over us today and are now joined by their brother. So now united with his siblings and his beloved wife, one tries not to grieve our loss today as much as we celebrate his joyful reunion with Aunt Frances. God Bless the Evola's and the Jonker's in their time of mourning and comfort them in this most difficult time. Amen
