Obituary of Alice M. Walter

Alice M. Walter, a resident of Shelton, CT and a former longtime born and raised resident of Stamford, passed away on Monday, November 10, 2014 in Shelton. Born on June 25, 1931, she was the daughter of the late William and Fredricka (Zarth) O'Brien. She was 83.
Alice graduated from Stamford High School. She worshiped at the First Baptist Church of Fairfield and loved to paint and won several awards.
Alice is survived by her daughter Carole Lexa of Ansonia, her son Robert B. Walter of Shelton and four grandchildren, Luke, Zachary, Jacob and Matthew. She is also survived by a brother William O'Brien of Norwalk. She was predeceased by her husband, Clifford M. Walter in 1997.
A Funeral Service will be held at the Edward Lawrence Funeral Home, 2119 Post Road, Darien on Friday, November 14, 2014 at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow at Fairfield Memorial Park, Stamford.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the First Baptist Church of Fairfield, 65 Church Hill Road, Fairfield, CT 06825.
