Forever will my Great Aunt be in my memories. She never forgot a birthday. She always sent a card , even when I broke my leg and had multiple surgeries and hospitalizations, she sent cards and crossword puzzle books. I can see her plain as day sitting at our kitchen table when I was an adolescent telling stories about the day Great Grampa (John Henry) got run over. People who saw him never new it had happened as he just went about his day. To hear and watch her animation as she relayed how they went looking for him after someone asked how he was doing was gripping, much like when she was relating a story about a time they (I believe it may have been with my father) rode in the car with my great grand father driving and they were jumping up and down on the back seat of the car saying "faster, faster, we want to go to the morgue." She sure had a way of telling stories. She will always be in my memories and thoughts...thereby leaving her indullible impression and me and my life.
