Dawn loved her Grandmother Tama, I Jon Met her and Philip in Reno for a reunion for WW2. They had a chance to meet our children and had a really nice time. I wish we had some time to visit more. Both of our sons are Marine's. He would have been so proud. He shared with all of us his stories. We hope to keep in touch. My wife Dawn misses her Tama and Philip, and I a Firefighter for 27 years respect him and my Son's for there service to this great country we in live. Thank You.

It was my privilege to know Phil through the Roger Sherman Branch of the Sons of the American Revolution for just under 15 years. Phil was the epitome of the term "an officer and a gentlemen". A true patriot, he will be missed. God Bless

On behalf of the Roger Sherman Branch #5, Connecticut Society of the Sons of the American Revolution (CTSSAR), I would like to offer our sincere condolences to the Family and Friends of our own 2nd Vice President, Philip Abbe Morehouse. He was always an affable, easy-going gentleman and a good friend to all who knew him and especially to our new members. As did his ancestors in 1776, Philip served his country well, both as a member of the Big Red One and in civilian life, and knew the price of freedom, having lost his brother Alan at Omaha Beach. He never lost sight of the spirit of America and the hopes and dreams of our Founding Fathers. We will greatly miss Philips leadership, his friendship and his up-beat presence, and I personally will miss his guidance in the performance of my duties and the appreciation of the lessons of history. Go with God, Philip. Patriotically, Harding Dies 1st Vice President & Chaplain
