Catherine Anna Prentice-Deutsch passed away at home with her family in Easton, CT on Sunday, October 16, 2005. She died of cancer of the liver. She was 43.

Cathy was the loving wife of Louis S. Deutsch, a Senior IT Consultant for Bayer Corporate and Business Services. She was the daughter of Catherine Walker and the late John Prentice and is the stepdaughter of Mort Walker.

Cathy was born on April 17, 1962 in Mexico City and grew up in Weston, CT. After high school, she worked as the manager of her stepfather's cartoon art studio in Stamford, CT until the time of her death.

Cathy is survived by her brother Thomas Whitney Prentice and his wife, Jan Prentice of Branford, CT; her sister, Priscilla Prentice-Campbell and her husband, David Campbell of Seattle, WA; and her brother John Franklin Prentice II and his wife, Leslie Prentice, of Alamo, CA. Cathy is also survived by six nieces and nephews and her beloved cat Micia.

A funeral servcie was held on Wednesday, October 19, 2005 at the Talmadge Hill Community Church in Darien. Burial was in Willowbrook Cemetery in Westport, CT.
