Obituary of Florence A. Howe

Florence A. Howe, 93, of Darien Ct. died of a heart attack on January 19, 2012 while visiting family in Crystal Lake, Illinois. She was born to her parents, Richard and Florence Spink, in New York on August 25, 1918. Florence was preceded in death by her husband, Frederick P. Howe Jr., a respected longtime local building contractor and her sister, Helen Bryant. Survivors include her five children; devoted daughter Linda (Mike) Orawsky and sons, Rick (Georgiana) Howe, George Howe, John Taubl and Clayton Taubl. Florence's many loving grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews will have wonderful memories of this warmhearted and caring woman. Florence is also survived by her dear sister, Marie Minihan. Although Florence is no longer physically with us, she will always be in the hearts of her family and friends.
