Obituary of Jeanette Gurrieri

Jeanette Gurrieri, a long time resident of Darien, CT, passed away on Tuesday, January 10, 2006 at Marathon Health Care Center in Norwalk. Born March 6, 1914 in Stamford, she was the daughter of the late Michael Nagy and Veronica Halasi Nagy. She was 91. Mrs. Gurrieri was a parishioner of St. John R.C. Church in Darien. She retired from Phillips Milk of Magnesia of Glenbrook. She is survived by one sister, Olga Fischl of Norwalk; three nieces, Karen P. Smith of Darien; Robin Uva of Stamford and Linda Cohan of Richboro, PA; and three nephews, James M. Miller of Norwalk; William Fischl of West Redding, CT and Charles Uva of Stamford. She is also survived by three grand nieces, Kristi-Starr Smith of Darien; Dana Hunter of Pennsylvania; Kelly Fischl of California and five grand nephews, Shane M. Smith of Darien; Tristan Fischl of West Redding; Adam Cohan, Jonathan Cohan and Matthew Cohan all of Richboro, PA. She is predeceased by her husband, Joseph Gurrieri, and several sisters and a brother. The family will receive relatives and friends at the Edward Lawrence Funeral Home, 2119 Post Road, Darien, CT on Saturday, January 14, 2006 from 10:00 to 11:00 AM.
