Obituary of Joseph G. Herman

Joseph G. Herman, a life long resident of Stamford, passed away on Saturday, February 4, 2006 at Stamford Hospital. Born June 14, 1956 in Stamford, he was the son of the late Joseph Michael and Anna (Evon) Herman. He was 49. Mr. Herman worked as a truck driver for 27 years for Drenckhahn Excavating, Inc. in Stamford and prior to that worked for the Department of Public Works for the Town of Darien. He is survived by one brother, Michael J. Herman of Otto, NC and one sister, Cindy Piorkowski and her husband, Robert, of Stamford. He is also survived by three nieces, Danielle Herman of Tampa, FL; Nicole Herman of Otto, NC and Kelsey Piorkowski and one nephew, Joseph Piorkowski both of Stamford. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date. Interment will be private.
