Obituary of Sally S. MacDonnell

Sally S. MacDonnell, a long time resident of Darien, CT who enjoyed summers on Nantucket, passed away on Thursday, February 9, 2006 at Rosenthal Hospice in Stamford. Born January 17, 1952 in Hartford, CT, she was the daughter of Warren and Jean Stanley of North Falmouth, MA. She was 54. Besides her parents, she is survived by her husband of 31 years, Russell MacDonnell of Darien; four sons, Hunter MacDonnell of Stamford; Weston MacDonnell, Harrison MacDonnell, and Cooper MacDonnell all of Darien, and two daughters, Sage Nozko of Farmington, CT and Whitney MacDonnell also of Darien. She is also survived by one brother, Jeff Stanley of Fort Lauderdale, FL and three sisters, Claudia Moose of Annandale, VA; Carol Hull of Norwich, CT and Janet Macuch of Lakeville, MA. The family will receive friends at the Edward Lawrence Funeral Home, 2119 Post Road, Darien on Saturday, February 11, 2006 from 12:30 to 3:30 PM. A Funeral Service will be held at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, 1864 Post Road, Darien on Saturday, February 11, 2006 at 4:00 PM. Interment will take place on Nantucket Island, MA.
