I remember Larry as a clear thinker who brought all of the many issues of a major charity like Kips Bay Boys and Girls Club to sound resolution. He was never a beat around the bush person, and inevitably made his views known to all and presented them in a fair and often charming way. Jim Schwab and I valued his views, readily forthcoming whenever needed. We appreciated his help then, and remember it now fondly as we are saddened with his family at his passing.
