Diana Demms Reddington, a longtime resident of Darien, 76 years young, born in Stamford, CT on November 26, 1938, passed peacefully on June 20, 2015. She was the daughter of Robert Singleton Demms and Vivienne FitzGerald Demms.
Diana was a graduate of Darien High School and went on to be an Executive Secretary at Pitney Bowes for over 30 years. She was owner of Ernie's Bar & Grill on Tokeneke Road in Darien for 20 years. Diana was Chaplain for The Daughters of the American Revolution, Darien Chapter. Diana was predeceased by her husband, James T. Reddington of New Canaan, CT. She is survived by 3 sons, Daryn, Todd and Robert Pleasants, 4 grandchildren, a sister, 3 brothers, a niece and 2 nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. John R.C. Church, 1986 Post Road, Darien on Saturday, June 27, 2015 at 10:00 AM. www.lawrencefuneralhome.com
