Obituary of Cabiria G. Connors

Cabiria G. Connors, 88, an over 60 year resident of Stamford passed away peacefully at her daughter’s home in Ridgefield after a short illness. She was born in the Bronx, NY on Oct. 3, 1917. Cabiria DiTieri grew up in New York, was married, and moved to Stamford in the 1950’s. Mrs. Connors was a member of St John’s R.C. Church in Darien. She was predeceased by her husband of over 55 years, William P. Connors. Cabiria is survived by her daughter Lisa Prehodka of Ridgefield and husband Barry Prehodka, and granddaughter Olivia; and her son Joseph P. Connors of Scarsdale, N.Y. and wife Geraldine, and granddaughters Caroline and Cassandra; and her sister Julia Mirollo of New York, NY. She was predeceased by her 2 brothers Joseph and Richard DiTieri. Friends may call at the Edward Lawrence Funeral Home, 2119 Post Road, Darien on Tuesday May 30, 2006 from 6 to 9 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St John’s R.C. Church in Darien on Wednesday May 31, 2006 at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at Spring Grove Cemetery in Darien.
