Obituary of Gregory Stanton Shaw

Gregory Stanton Shaw, 25, beloved son of Cynthia and Douglas Shaw, passed away at his home on Wednesday, August 5, 2015. He was a graduate of Darien High School and attended Roanoke College. Greg was an aspiring musician and songwriter. He loved being outdoors and working with children. He loved meeting new people; he always remembered your name, and had a kind word to share. Greg had a wonderful sense of humor; he always made you smile and was the ultimate people person. Greg was a light in our lives and loved by all who knew him. He is survived by his parents Cynthia and Doug, sister Taylor and brothers Doug, Tim and Justin who treasured him, his loving grandparents, Doris and Stanton Geary and aunts; Diana Heitsmith, Debbie Wilson, Meg Ellacott and Heather Geary. Rest in peace dear son, brother and friend. A Celebration of his Life will be held on Tuesday, August 11, 2015 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at the Edward Lawrence Funeral Home, 2119 Post Road, Darien.
