Obituary of Victoria Kelly Byers

Victoria Kelly Byers, a resident of New Canaan, CT, passed away on Friday, August 3, 2012 at Waveny Care Center in New Canaan. Born on March 12, 1939 in Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of the late Franklin and Virginia Kelly. She was 73. Victoria graduated from the Newman School New Orleans and Smith College. She worked for 15 years as Director of Development at Greenwich Academy in Greenwich, CT. She was president of the Junior League of Stamford/Norwalk and a long time, active volunteer with St. Luke's Parish in Darien and for her alma mater, Smith College. She is survived by her children, Ginny Churchill and her husband, Eric of Wellesley, MA; Adair Scott and her husband, Simon of New Canaan, CT; and Crawford Byers and his wife Karen of Denver, CO; and eight grandchildren A Memorial Service will be held at St. Luke's Parish, 1864 Post Road, Darien on Thursday, September 13, 2012 at 10:00 AM with Rev. David Anderson.
