Obituary of Harold S. Temple

Harold S. Temple, of Stamford, CT, passed away on Saturday September 1, 2012 at Norwalk Hospital. Born on February 8, 1925 in Darien CT, he was the son of the late Harold Temple Sr. and Ruth (Weed) Temple. He was 87. Harold retired as a janitor from the Darien school system. His passion was to make wooden scenes at historical local landmarks and working in his yard. Harold is survived by his sister Helen Temple of Stamford, CT; a niece Ruth Brown of New York, and a nephew Paul Franson of New Jersey. He was pre-deceased by his loving wife Shirley Webb Temple, his sister Estelle Franson, and two brothers Harvey and Clifford Temple. The family will receive friends at the Edward Lawrence Funeral Home, 2119 Post Road, Darien on Thursday, September 6, 2012 from 9:45-10:45AM. A Funeral Service will be held at the funeral home at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow at Fairfield Memorial Park in Stamford, CT.
