Obituary of Nancy M. Marino

Nancy M. Marino, a resident of Shelton, CT and a former long-time resident of Norwalk passed away on Monday, September 14, 2015 surrounded by her loving family at home. Born on January 20, 1938 in Stamford, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Josephine (Calvi) Verducci. Nancy was raised in Darien and was a graduate of Darien High School. Her greatest joy in life was spending time with family and caring for her grandchildren. She is survived by two daughters, Kathy Marino-Bucnis and Gail Post and her husband, Lee both of Shelton, CT. and five grandchildren, John Marino and his wife, Jessica, Jesse Post, Heather Bennette, Dylan Post and Nicholas Bucnis. She is also survived by three brothers, Anthony Augustus of Stamford, Joseph Augustus of Darien and Nicholas Augustus of West Palm Beach, FL; and one sister, Joyce Waters of Darien. She was predeceased by two brothers, George Agosto and John Augustus and two sisters, Angela Morguson and Carmella Petracelli, and son-in-law, David Bucnis. The family will receive friends at the Edward Lawrence Funeral Home, 2119 Post Road, Darien on Wednesday, September 23, 2015 from 9:00 to 10:30 AM. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at St. John R.C. Church, 1986 Post Road, Darien on Wednesday at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow at St. John Cemetery, Darien.
