Obituary of Nina C. Billings

Nina C. Billings, a resident of Norwalk, CT and a former long-time resident of Darien, passed away on Thursday, November 1, 2012 at Wilton Meadows in Wilton, CT. Born on February 3, 1919 in Springfield, MA, she was the daughter of the late Maxime and Catherine Dolgitsky. She was 93. Nina graduated from Stamford High School. She was an administrative assistant for Fleischman Labs, General Foods and Xerox before becoming a local real estate broker. She enjoyed many an afternoon at Weed Beach in Darien and had a great love of gardening. She is survived by one son, George W. Billings, III of Norwalk; one daughter, Althea Mastriani of Honolulu, HI and five grandchildren and six great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, George W. Billings, Jr. in 1987 and a sister, Mary Lathrop. A private family graveside service will be held at Spring Grove Cemetery, Darien.
