Obituary of Margaret Brannan Keane

Margaret Brannan Keane, a six year resident of Lakewood, OH and a former resident of Darien, passed away in Lakewood, OH on Thursday, November 16, 2006. Born in Stamford on September 14, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Margaret L. Brannan. She was 80 years of age. Margaret graduated from Stamford High School Class of 1944. She spent most of her married life in Darien. She was predeceased in death by her husband of 51 years, John J. Keane. She is survived by one daughter, Patricia K. Laskey (Timothy) of Lakewood, OH; and two sons, Michael T. Keane (Rita) of Stamford, CT and John J. Keane, Jr. (Susan) of Darien. Margaret was blessed to have lived long enough to know her 10 wonderful grandchildren: Kathleen, Robin, Cynthia, Joseph, Michael, Jr., Timothy, Brendan, Ellen, and John J., III. She was predeceased by one sister, Frances Brannan, one brother, Edward Brannan and a granddaughter, Holly. Friends may call at the Edward Lawrence Funeral Home, 2119 Post Road, Darien on Tuesday, November 21, 2006 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. John R.C. Church, 1986 Post Road, Darien on Wednesday, November 22, 2006 at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at St. John R.C. Cemetery, Darien.
