From my earliest memories up until the last time that I saw him, Grandpa always had stories about wisdom and a couple of good jokes. He was honest and noble in all his pursuits. He will be missed.

It is a great blessing to me that I was very close to my Grandfather, and my 4 children to have known so well their Great-Granpa. Everyday my family has a wonderful story or memory from Granpa ( and Granma Phyllis). Granpa will live on forever through us, for our lives have been so influenced by him , from his wisdom and love .

My annual drive East, with my dog, always culminated at the Mazik house, during a lively lunch overlooking the garden of Phyllis and my Godfather Uncle Paul. We would exchange quotations and always, renew the tale of the rocking chairs. I shall miss him greatly. God bless. Joanne

Some of my fondest memories of Paul will be sharing the enjoyment and patience of watching the variety of birds that visited their backyard. It was something he was so passionate about and loved to share, encouraging the grand kids to also enjoy.

What I always remember is that at any family event, Uncle Paul was there ready to share a story or tell us abit of family history. He will be greatly missed. Love and prayers to the entire family Denise Monte

I would have to write a book to list all the help and advice Paul (and Phyllis) have provided over the years. I am so fortunate to have met him and am proud to have been able to call him "dad". I am also glad that he and Helen had the opportunity to meet and learn about each other. We will miss him but we will always remember him.

To all the family, "Uncle" Paul shared many family stories with me over the years - often funny and always interesting. A few years back he offered me this wisdom - "To others' faults be a little blind, and to their virtues be very kind." A good way to live. Jerry
