Obituary of Allan James Carlson

Allan James Carlson a resident of Stamford since 1969 and a former resident of Darien from 1946 to 1969, passed away on Tuesday, January 1, 2013 at Stamford Hospital. Born January 13, 1931 in New York City, NY, he was the son of the late Alan and Josephine Christie Carlson. He was 81.
Allan was a retired mail carrier for the Darien Post Office. He was a member of the Darien Fire Department, the Stamford Senior Men's Club, A.A.R.P. and the Senior Center of Darien. He was a parishioner of St. John's Lutheran Church in Stamford.
He is survived by three cousins, Robert Alexander, Russell Alexander and Robert Alexander, Jr. A Graveside Service will be held at Spring Grove Cemetery, Darien on Monday, January 14, 2013 at 1:00 PM.
