Obituary of Alfred Franklin Hoehn

Alfred Franklin Hoehn, a long time resident of Stamford, passed away on Friday, January 5, 2007 at Rosenthal Hospice Residence in Stamford. Born August 29, 1926 in Bronxville, NY, he was the son of the late Alfred J. Hoehn and Florence R. Hatch Hoehn. He was 80. Alfred graduated from Scarsdale High School, class of 1944, in Scarsdale, NY and received a B.S. degree in physics from Union College, class of 1950, in Schenectady, NY. He served with the U.S. Navy during World War II and was honorable discharged in 1950. He retired as Senior Engineer in 1984 from AT&T, Long Lines Department in White Plains, NY after 28 years with the company. He worked part-time with S.A.C.I.A. in Stamford. Alfred was a long time member of the Noroton Presbyterian Church and sang with the Chancel Choir and was a former Deacon. He is survived by two daughters, Alice J. de Kozlowski and her husband, Steven J. of Columbia, SC and Janet M. Paschall and her husband, Edward M. of Wilmington, DE; one son, Warren A. Hoehn of Stamford, CT and four grandchildren. He is also survived by a sister, Barbara T. Hoehn of Stamford. He is predeceased by his wife Marie Alice Lang Hoehn in April of 1999 and one grandchild. A Memorial Service will be held at the Noroton Presbyterian Chapel, 2011 Post Road Darien, CT on Tuesday, January 9, 2007 at 11:30 AM. A private family interment will be held at Kensico Cemetery in Valhalla, NY.
