Michael T. Plant, a resident of Long Beach, CA, passed away on Thursday, January 11, 2007 at home in Long Beach. Born in Chicago Heights, IL, he was the son of A. Thomas and Sheila V. Plant of Darien. He was 37. Michael grew up in Darien and graduated from Darien High School where he was a member of the debate team. He attended the University of Southern California and the University of Connecticut, and graduated from Boston University with a B.A. degree in communications. He studied for his MBA at the University of California - Riverside and CAL State in Long Beach. He worked in sales for Bosworth Medical and later for Teledyne Medical both in California. He enjoyed skiing and surfing. Michael will be remembered for his quick wit, gift of gab and his love for the Denver Broncos. In addition to his parents, he is survived by a brother Dennis D. Plant of Cambridge, MA. A Memorial Service will be held at the Edward Lawrence Funeral Home, 2119 Post Road, Darien on Sunday, January 21, 2007 at 1:30 PM.
