Obituary of Lucille Dressler

Lucille Dressler, a 30 year resident of Norwalk and a former 30 year resident of Darien, passed away on Thursday, January 11, 2007 at Norwalk Hospital. She was born on January 18, 1921 and was the daughter of the late William and Minnie (Rutan) Young.
Lucille was a telemarketer for Telco One. She was a member of the Friends of the Norwalk Symphony and a parishioner of St. Luke’s Episcopal Church in Darien and sang in their choir. She was also a member of the Troopers Light Opera Co. in Darien, sang in various churches and synagogues in the local area and a member of various musical organizations also in the local area. She also taught music at Nathan Hale Junior High School.
She is survived by her former husband, Patrick E. Dressler; one son, Peter and his wife Sharon and two grandchildren, Abigail and Meghan.
A Memorial Service will be held at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, 1864 Post Road, Darien on Thursday, January 18, 2007 at 10:30 AM. Entombment will follow at the Columbarium at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church.
