"Uncle" Harry was one of my favorite people growing up. I always looked forward to either coming to Darien in the Fall and seeing him and Nancy when my father and I visited Uncle Webster and Aunt Barbara or when the Simpson clan came up to the Cape in the Summer. Uncle Harry was always interested in what you were doing in school or sports, etc. and he never "talked down" to you. His easy going manner, humor, kindness and sunny disposition, always put me at ease. Uncle Harry, while a Simpson by birth, was just as much of a Shepherd as any of us, as far as I was concerned and I shall miss him very much.
